Product Description
An Exception To The Rule- It is often said the "beauty is skin deep". The Dean Edge Bass is clearly the exception to the rule! While beauty was the inspiration of the Dean Edge, we put every bit of our 20 plus years of design experience into these models. We started with a body styled and contoured for comfort and the choice basswood to make them lighter. The maple necks were profiled to be faster and sleeker than virtually all other. We designed a "uniquely Dean" custom neck joint and heel along with our asymmetrical 4 bolt pattern creating uninterrupted access all the way up the two octave neck. The Edge Bass is offered in four, five and string models. Experience one of the worlds fines basses - the Dean Edge! Great Bass at discount price
By BassRacer
Bass is stunning at first glance. Quilts top is very nice and finish is perfect. First thing I noticed that was negative was the knobs were too low and not square to the curved top so they were hitting the wood and hard to turn. I pulled them up a bit and it fixed it. Not sure of the exact problem but something is not square. I filled in the inside of the knob so they won't slide back down. Tone wise it is nice punchy, warm and minimal growl, but has that hard rock metal sound. This is what I bought it for and am very happy. The pickups are pretty nice and very hot. The action like all new basses was very high and the neck needed adjuctment. I got on sale for $264 and that is a screaming deal for such a nice bass. I mainly play Warwicks and FEnders and this is similar quality to a nice Fender.

5 star Bass, 1 star packing!
By 1918Bosoxfan
The guitar arrived in a huge box, with the manufactures box floating around inside. I'm guessing that during shipping it was banged around and when I got the guitar it had a huge crack in the body near the strap peg! Too bad it was a good looking guitar and all the reviews were good. Shame it was packaged so poorly.``
